GD COPELAND is a Midwest native that currently lives in South Florida. After a long legal career, GD decided to pursue a career in writing. GD began writing as a form of self-therapy, and that turned into a love for writing. He considers himself to be a writer who is not bound by genres writer. GD’s novels, novellas, and stories cover urban fantasy, young adult, and mystery/thriller, and more.
He enjoys time with his family, watching and playing sports, traveling the country, and finding new ways to embarrass his children. Discovering original documentaries to watch and pretending he knows what he is doing with his grill are also pastimes.
GD likes to do his writing early mornings and late nights so that his dogs won’t interrupt him with random bathroom breaks and walk requests. GD welcomes you and hopes that you find the same enjoyment reading his works as he has had to create.

The Last Wizard of Brooklyn (Urban Fantasy, Young Adult)
There are many places and many things in this world that are a marvel. A fascination. A truly extraordinary and breathtaking wonder. But none so much as a small little town tucked in the Eastern corner of the United States called Brooklyn, NY. Exit Tilden awoke one morning, assuming he was a run of the mill everyday eighth-grader. He was right until he faints at school and awakens to the news that his mother is missing, and his entire world was not what he had thought it to be. Exit is a witch, a sorcerer, a conjurer, a wizard. He is part of a gifted progeny called Heri that have co-existed in secrecy among us since the beginning of time. They are a silent society that is one with nature and the elements around them. The Heri has been hunted by a group known as the Jaghund for almost a thousand years. The Jaghund has sent its best and most dangerous hunter, Malbury, to hunt for an entrance into Brooklyn Proper- a sanctuary for the gifted. If the access is gained into The Proper, the entire Heri will face extinction at the hands of the Jahund. More critical to Exit, is that Malbury has kidnapped his mother. Balancing this news, along with the worries of an everyday thirteen-year-old, Exit is joined by his best friend Oren, and his newfound friend Trinette. The group must find a way to save Exit’s mother, stop Malbury, and prevent the Jaghund from entering The Proper. Sounds easy, right? It would be if only the group knew how to find and enter The Proper themselves. It is a race against time and danger as Exit leads the charge to save his people.
