Nadine Lalonde (Fantasy/Mystery/Thriller)
Nadine Lalonde lives in London, Ontario, with her two teenage children, Alexandra and Adrian. Intrigued with the macabre since childhood, Nadine developed a strong criminal plot around a solid paranormal base in her first novel, ASCESNION. As a fan of crime drama since the days of Quincy and Columbo, the author put her scientific education to use providing technical details that fascinate and educate readers. Ms. Lalonde developed her writing skills as a technical and business writer, and her exceptional research skills as an executive search consultant. Currently, Nadine is an employment consultant and college instructor, aspiring to become a full time author.
T.O. Munro (Fantasy)
T.O. Munro lives in Kent in England with his wife, four daughters, three dogs, one cat and a hamster. He has degrees in “Engineering” and “Satellite Communication and Spacecraft Technology.” He also has an interest in History, which he finds is filled with so many stories that would be considered too incredible to feature in a novel. He works in education and is constantly anxious for his students to read more. He has loved those books which drew him in deeply enough to make him cry, such as Markus Zusak’s “The Book Thief.”
Alaina Stanford (Romance/Fantasy/Science-Fiction)
Alaina Stanford loves a good adventure. She loves a good romance. As the mother of seven children she also learned to love to play video games. One day it occurred to her to write an adventure that flowed like a video game and she added a touch of romance. Thus, Hypnotic Journey was born.
The HJ characters are like a family to Alaina. They are foolish, daring, resourceful and full of passion not only for life but for the friendships they have created in this world and the next.
Her love for Science Fiction gave birth to the Treborel Series. Paranormal romance adventures featuring a psychotic villain and a multiple layer of hero’s fighting to survive the chaos.
Justine Edward (Children’s/Poetry)
Justine Edward is a teacher, writer and mother of three. She is based in Far North Queensland, Australia where she is fortunate to enjoy year round sunshine. Being a water sign, she loves swimming, snorkelling and spending time on the beach. And with The Great Barrier Reef on her door step she has no difficulty in finding great new places to explore.
In her spare time she enjoys baking, spending time with her family and connecting with people through social media. One of the greatest parts of publishing a book for Justine has been the connections she has made with readers. To Justine, to hear how her book has impacted another person is incredibly rewarding. That’s what makes all her hard work worthwhile.
Rick Austin (Comedy/Fantasy)
Rick Austin is a partly-shaven monkey who owns a laptop and insists on using it. Between coffee breaks, he writes for various websites and enjoys playing karaoke, where his singing abilities have been known to clear packed rooms. A fan of pop culture, he believes that his lime green Hawaiian shirt contains mystical properties.
He was born in Birmingham, UK, although maintains that this isn’t where it all went wrong for him. He both credits and blames his writing on a strange, drunken man he met at a book signing when he was a child.
His favourite thing in the world is totally unmentionable, and has little to do with potatoes.
Karynne Summars (Romance/Thriller)
Karynne Summars, the author of the contemporary romance suspense novel entitled Desperate Pursuit in Venice, was born and raised in Berlin, Germany from where she moved to Honolulu, Hawaii when she first came to the United States. She currently lives in New York and Marbella, Spain. Her former career as an international corporate finance professional did not allow her to spend the time to fulfill her long dream of writing a novel. But that desire never went away and there is a right time for everything in life. Certain of her life experiences provided a good basis for this novel. From there she expanded the storyline and added exciting events and captivating characters. The material was flowing without any case of writer’s block and she completed the novel in about seven months. She already has concrete ideas for additional novels once the sequel to “Desperate Pursuit in Venice” is published, which is scheduled towards the end of 2013.
Dona Watson (Fantasy/SciFi/Religion)
Dona Watson grew up with a book in one hand, dreaming about imaginary worlds of mystery and adventure. In high school, she found an old copy of Sword at Sunset by Rosemary Sutcliff in a used bookstore, fell in love with fantasy fiction and never looked back.
She earned a Bachelor’s in English from Vanguard University and now works fulltime as a writer and editor. Her stories can be found online and in print, including Angel Songs, 20 Christmas Short Stories and Poems, plus Recipes. Look for her award-winning fantasy novel The Lightstone of Perlan, soon to be published, as well as short stories online, in ebook format, and in print.
