Ashley Cameron (Chic Lit)
Ashley Cameron grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She won a Paper Plate Award for Best Writer in the 7th grade and has been writing – from journals to blogs and now books – ever since. She is a frequent at farmers markets and lives by the easy-going motto “Love, Peace, and a Flower in my hair” tattooed on her wrist. Ashley Cameron currently lives in the South Bay with her boyfriend.
Mike Smart (Thriller)
“Gatekeeper” is Mike’s first novel, it appears to strike a chord with those people that have read it and has received a number of favourable reviews. The book is designed to entertain and provoke thought; it’s not long on flowery prose but rather sets out to be a fast moving story within a tight timeframe. It touches on a number of very important issues that those close to the industry believe to be overlooked by many, entertainment with the odd message thrown in for good measure.
P.S. Winn (Literary Fiction/Thriller/SciFi)
P.S. Winn is a self-published author who loves to write, but even more so than that, they are an author who needs to write. (They are also wholly sustained by copious amounts of chocolate and coffee.) The stories they will eventually tell invade their dreams every night and occupy their thoughts every day, and until they put them on paper they just won’t seem to go away. Their wish is for readers to love reading their stories as much as they love writing them.
Dr. Dennis J. Foote (Historical Fiction)
Dr. Dennis J. Foote is a very dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He grew up in Michigan and spent 22 years traveling all over the world with the military. He is now a retired physician and army officer, with a high disability rating from the Department of Veterans Affairs. He has been writing and rewriting several novels over many years, but it is not until relocating to Hawaii, that he has found more time to work on his literary endeavors.
William Bortz (Poetry/Short Stories)
William Bortz is a 22 year-old poet, writer, and author living in Iowa. William has published three books of poetry and short stories, ‘These Ties’, ‘Petrichor’, ‘Noema’ and is currently working on his fourth. In addition to writing, William enjoys traveling, playing guitar, and exploring every way possible to create art. William has been working towards his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology for a few years, a subject that has always interested him, one that also plays a major role in William’s writing.
Lexa Dudley (Literary Fiction/Romance)
Lexa Dudley is a freelance writer and a poet. She fell in love with the island of Sardinia in 1972 when visiting for the first time with her family; and became intrigued with the island’s unique culture. She has always enjoyed writing, but with a large family to look after and helping her husband run his business, it was a part time hobby.
Denial, Deceit, Discovery is a new work of fiction by J. James. Written in the style of a personal memoir, James tells the complex, engaging and moving coming out story of the book’s main character, Jack Ellis. Jack is a young Catholic man living in the UK who struggles mightily on the road to self-awareness. Jack’s life is inspired by many events experienced by the author, but the universal themes of honesty, personal growth and acceptance transcend one person’s story.
Wendy Storer (YA)
Wendy Storer writes fiction for children and young adults, inspired by real life. She is interested in the human drama, the stories which tug at the heart strings and the amazing resilience of people who battle through desperate situations to come out the other side, happier. She hopes her stories will leave readers with a sense of hope and expectation that life can get better, even when the chances look slim.
D.E. Morris (Science-Fiction)
One of his earliest and most memorable presents was a large book, bound with a red hard-cover and filled with empty pages. His mother told him that this book was for him to write all his ideas. He spent many happy hours writing his imaginative fantasy tales in it.
Jay Allen Storey (Commercial/YA/Sci-Fi)
Jay Allan Storey was born in Victoria, BC, Canada. At the age of nineteen he spent a year and a half traveling overland from London England to Australia, passing through many places in the news today, including Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and the Swat valley in Pakistan. Returning to Canada he worked at an amazing variety of jobs, from cab driver to land surveyor to accordion salesman, eventually settling down as a software developer for the web.
He finally set aside his technical background to concentrate on writing and music. He’s the author of one novel, ELDORADO, one novella, CHOPPER MUSIC, and a number of short stories. He’s currently working on a second novel, a second novella, and several smaller projects.
Lottie Winter (Romance/Erotica)
Lottie has always loved to write, and since a very young age she has put pen to paper, spilling out the thoughts, hopes and dreams trapped in her head. She has written short pieces and articles for magazines for many years, always having something she is scribbling away at.
It was not really until Lottie had a baby that she actually had the time write a novel – yes really – sleepless nights of a baby asleep on her chest have been filled with writing. She thinks sometimes once you start writing, and can see the words flowing on the screen you can get terribly hooked, She is addicted to the creativeness of writing.
A.J. Walters (Romance/Erotica)
A J Walters is a new contemporary romance author who has just made her first appearance on to the indie circuit. Having interests in history, romance and elements of erotica, she has brought all of these together in her debut publication; An Acute Attraction.
Wanting to break the trend of size 12 virgins in books, A J Walters has introduced a new real woman in Isabel Chambers. She’s a size 18-20, working single mother who now feels is it her time to start living her life again. At the ripe young age of 39, A J Walters also wanted to show that you can experience everything that a twenty-something would.
Cindi Walton (Children’s/Poetry)
Cindi Walton is all about including healthy doses of nonsense into her life. As a Nana to two wonderful grandchildren and a surrogate Nana to many more, she loves to invoke wonder into the lives of the little ones around her. Pixie dust and sunshine are essential to her take on life. Cindi is wife to Michael, mother to Candi and Kristy and Nana to William and Kaleigh. Last but not least is Maxwell House her resident standard poodle. Did she forget to mention she loves coffee? Her poor dog is reminded of that fact daily. Cindi resides in beautiful Northern Michigan surrounding by gorgeous lakes and nature at its finest.
